Client Projects and Testimonials:
"Yvette is very knowledgeable and candid in her observations of the strengths and challenges that she sees. Her candor helps break through otherwise difficult challenges as people try to work together to get a task done." |
The Project:
Organ Recovery Systems (ORS) is a medical device manufacturer that provides organ preservation products and services. ORS purchased Arena Solutions software to document product designs and manufacturing processes. ORS needed an implementation leader who could define, create, and configure the new documentation system. This individual had to be familiar with document control software and understand the material and engineering structure of part numbers and drawings. All documentation had to be transitioned from external subcontractors to the new in-house system and reviewed for accuracy. The Results: The document control system was successfully implemented and current products were fully documented online within our six month timeframe. Now all departments can access documentation whether they are in the office or remote. Yvette was very knowledgeable, and had a good understanding of how the software structure supported development and manufacturing activities. Without direction, she could look at a product, a drawing package, and create a bill of material with the appropriate documentation. She is candid in her observations of the strengths and challenges she sees when collaborating. Her candor helps break through otherwise difficult challenges as people try to work together to get a task done. |
"Yvette brought a lot of ideas to the table, was professional, and had superior training expertise. She was unfazed about working on materials that were on a subject unfamiliar to her, and was able to just jump in, come up to speed, and begin working." |
The Project:
Shibley and Partners, LLC is a management consulting firm that helps employees transition in times of change. The firm uses effective stakeholder management, comprehensive training, and communication programs to achieve results for their clients. Shibley and Partners needed a learning specialist and instructional designer to produce an e-learning version of existing in-person training materials within a short timeframe. Course materials needed to be designed from an end-users perspective in easy to absorb sections. Additional requirements were: strong project management skills, the ability to come up to speed quickly, work remotely, meet tight deadlines and be organized, reliable, and self-directed. The Results: The e-learning training modules were created and delivered to the client by the deadline. The client was very pleased with the results and Shibley and Partners was happy working with Yvette. They felt Yvette had superior training expertise, created a solid working relationship, brought a lot of good ideas to the table, and had the ability to push back when needed. They were impressed with Yvette’s ability to jump into a project with an unfamiliar subject matter, and loved that she could come up to speed quickly and start working immediately. |
"Yvette approached our project with high energy that helped with the 12 hour days. She learned our product ahead of time, and was completely prepared when she arrived. She had the skills to do every element of the project herself if needed. I would confidently use her again, or try to create something for her. She’s 5-stars!" |
The Project:
Selectica, Inc. is a software company that provides configurable contract management solutions. Selectica needed to create a full training video library. Project goals included meeting customer requested training needs, reducing onboarding time, and decreasing implementation time. The deliverable was content that would allow customers to start learning instantly, take control of implementation projects themselves, and get value from their Selectica purchase right away. The project required someone who had prior experience building a training video library and understood how to make an effective learning video. The Results: The creation of Selectica University: A complete set of bite-sized, easy to digest training videos, broken down by user type, that showed how to use the tool from start to finish. The library also contained a maintainable structure so making updates to the videos would be simple. Customers experienced a quicker ROI, were empowered to make better decisions during implementation, and could begin training users immediately. Internally, the videos relieved pressure on a short-staffed implementation team, and as a surprise benefit, the Human Resources department started using the videos for new employee onboarding. Yvette was experienced, credible, and confident. She was methodical in developing the project plan, and had the skills to do every element of the project herself if it was required, from script writing, to video recording and editing, to what equipment was needed to set up a recording studio. |
